Sandhills Cascade

This was painted on location at Wildcat Camp along the Niobrara River east of Valentine, Nebraska. This cascade is one of the "Three Sisters" waterfalls along this stretch of the river. I loved the patterns of light coming through the trees and cascading down the waterfall - cascades of light and of water! This painting is part of Debra's "Yes This is Nebraska" series. This series will be exhibited in the late fall 2021 exhibitions in David City and Omaha, Nebraska. It is available for purchase, however, purchaser will need to agree to loan it back to the artist for the exhibitions (estimated approximately 6 to 7 months). The painting will be fully insured while on loan.
